Bio-recomposition is a speculative project that reimagines waste management. Genetically modified decomposers and architectural principles to transform the way we approach environmental sustainability. In this project, I explore concepts of incorporating synthetic waste into the production of organic construction materials.

Speculation: Can we genetically transform natural decomposers ( Termites, Dungbeetles and Worms) to combat landfills?

Ideation sketches of structures supporting co-living between insect and human

Nature’s most talented architects, termites, were my main source of inspiration for this project. I ponder the concept of cohabitating with these insects, designing a structure that accommodates both humans and creatures.
